Hook 'em Horns by Hubedihubbe Hook 'em Horns by Hubedihubbe
Back when George W Bush was president, he did the "Hook 'em horns" sign in Norway. But he didn't expect the norwegians to react as they did.
- They got a shock. In a negative way.

The Nordics translates this handmotion to something you do on metal concerts, rough and bad-ass.

Ofcourse I've overdone the reaction a bit with these Nordics, but it was a fun idea someone told. I signed up to make it.

...Our Norway takes it as a challange and points his middlefinger. >,<b

EDIT: I've gotten many comments from norwegians. Ta det roligt, bröder. You take this way too seriously, chill! XD The people getting shocked were probably unaware of that the gesture is very common among the younger generation, also they have misunderstood the gesture and what it's about. I don't mind it, and it's not like we hate it and get scared and... leave you forever if you do it, I mean... Come on. OTL
Also. This is Hetalia. Animals are talking. Tony is an alien. Everything is overdone, just to enlight the reactions even more. This is just for fun, so relax!

In some European cultures, the identical corna gesture is used to suggest spousal infidelity or Satanic association. Images of Jenna Bush publicly "throwing the horns" resulted in startled reactions in Norway and caused the First Lady's press secretary, Gordon Johndroe, to giggle when he discovered the gesture means bullshit in sign language. -Wikipedia

I'm thinking this is where the reaction comes from, not necessarily just it being about it being often used as a hand motion in metal concerts.
